How to Break A Hex
A dear friend wrote to Starr Dreams with fears that she had been hexed by her sister because of an inheritance conflict. Zia Lucia is the person who knows all about such things, so we passed the question along to her.
Zia Lucia writes:
No worries, Bambina! The hex has no power but what you give to it.
It seems strange that so many people in the U.S. are afraid of witches and witchcraft. In
Italy, witches are known as Bonidetti, the Ones with Blessings. These are the Wise Women and Men, the grandmothers and grandfathers people go to for help with their love affairs, with family arguments, for charms to become pregnant or to get rid of a pregnancy. These Wise Women have power, and they know how to get things done. Of course, every once in a while, someone does not use the power for good purposes, and perhaps those are the ones who give witches such a bad reputation among Americans. I will have to write more about that soon. But back to the problem at hand. Listen to your old
Zia, now, she knows what to do.
To break
the hex, choose a token object, like a piece of the silver. This token will represent all the heirlooms and anything else connected to the inheritance associated with the hex.
Take this token object and walk it
around the house with it. Bring it close to everything inherited from the family, and touch it to anything the sister might have touched, so that it will absorb all the hex from all the other objects. Take it out to the garage, to the porch or patio, where ever the hex might reside. Be sure to take the token to every doorway of the house, and pass it across every window. Do not forget closets, cupboards and storage areas where inherited objects might be kept. You want to be quite thorough in this stage of the cleansing. It is also wise to present the token to a portrait (photo) of the sister - the person responsible for the hex - so that any bad feelings between the two of you will pass into the token, and your relationship can be cleared.
Once that is done, it is time to cleanse the token. Rinse it once in salt water for cleansing, once in sugar water for
sweetness, then once in clear water for purity. Let it sit overnight
under the full moon (in a very few days, quite convenient) and by
morning, the hex is gone. Then (very important) within three days, send
your sister a gift, as the Scripture says, "Bless those who curse you." Y

Finally, offer praise and thanksgiving to the One. Celebrate by preparing a beautiful meal for the people you love. No need to tell them anything about the hex or cleansing, because that is over and done with. Let your spirit be light with happiness and bright blessings toward everyone.
This is the way to free yourself from any dark hex, spell or curse, because the true power is always within your own spirit.
